How Does CoolTone Work?

Each time we perform a crunch, or lunge, or squat, we tighten (contract) and then relax the muscles performing the exercise. Repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles strains the tissue. In response, the body repairs the muscle tissue, making it stronger and bigger than before.

CoolTone follows a similar principle. The machine employs advanced Magnetic Muscle Simulation (MMS) technology. The electromagnetic energy safely passes through the skin and penetrates the underlying muscle tissue.¹ The energy excites the muscle tissue, causing it to contract and relax at superhuman speed.² These powerful contractions are known as supramaximal contractions.
