Microneedling

Microneedling is a procedure during which a sophisticated apparatus equipped with very fine needles gently penetrates the outer layer of the skin.  This micro (meaning extremely small) skin punctures induce the skin to produce more collagen.  The new collagen creates a powerful skin rejuvenation that fills in wrinkles, scars and acne scars.

Prior to the procedure, numbing cream is applied to the area to be treated and left on for 10 - 30 minutes to eliminate pain and discomfort.

It is important to note that somewhere between three and six microneedling treatments are required for optimal results. Treatments are typically spaced three weeks apart.  After the procedure, there is minimal downtime, with the skin being slightly bruised for, most of the time, less than 24 hours.
